Youth & Young Adult Ministry Leaders
Purpose
The Presbytery of Genesee Valley encourages a collaborative approach to faith formation for children, youth, and young adults. Given the challenges facing all our churches, youth ministry can seem especially daunting. We believe that by working together to share time, talent, and treasure, we can help families and congregations meet the spiritual needs of young people!
The churches in our presbytery vary widely in size, demographic, and availability of resources. We are committed to providing high-quality, developmentally appropriate faith formation opportunities for all young people because vibrant youth ministry should not be the province only of urban and suburban churches with large budgets.
This team hosts monthly workshops, activities, and/or retreats, open to all people of faith (not strictly PCSUSA) in middle and high school.
