Supported Ministries of the Presbytery
Designated PGV Missions
Designated Ministries are those organizations and entities which are supported financially by the Presbytery of Genesee Valley. Our Mission Linkages Working Group (MLWG) oversees the invitation and application for funding of the organizations and entities seeking support. Funds are provided annually by the generous mission gifts of PGV congregations. We base our criteria for funding on the three pillars of the Matthew 25 initiative our Presbytery participates in: Building Congregational Vitality, Dismantling Structural Racism, Eradicating Systemic Poverty. MLWG also maintains relationships with Designated Ministry organizations which may include but are not limited to:
