The purpose of the fund is:
To help minister members, commissioned pastors, certified Christian Educators and Presbytery staff to get through an emergency or extenuating financial problem when their resources are insufficient to do so.
When a minister member of the Presbytery, commissioned pastor, certified Christian educator, or Presbytery staff member experiences an emergency or faces extenuating financial circumstances without the resources to match them, then assistance may be requested through making the need known to the Presbytery leader, or a person acting in their stead. The fund is administered by the Presbytery leader and each request is kept in confidence.
