Paul is a lifelong Presbyterian and has been a member of Third Presbyterian Church since 2000. He's an ordained elder and has served two terms on their session. He has also been a member of Third's Board of Trustees including a term as the president. He has been a member of Third's Joint Budget and Finance Committee for more than ten years. His other church activities include being a Youth Advisor, a Sunday School Teacher and part of the RAIHN crew. He is also part of the leadership team of the East Avenue Grocery Run which supports a number of food programs in the area.
More than 30 years ago, Paul came to Rochester to attend the University of Rochester and was a member of the Protestant Chapel Community and Genesee Area Campus Ministries. He later served on the GACM board. Paul and his wife Deb live in Penfield and have three children in college. Professionally, Paul works for the Center for Governmental Research as a consultant assisting local governments to improve their operations. He also serves the community as a part time paramedic with Penfield Ambulance. When he finds the time, he enjoys being outdoors hiking, kayaking or just taking a nice walk.
