Rev. Aaron Neff has been the pastor of the First Presbyterian Church of Pittsford since May 2020. He has been a member of this Presbytery since July 2016 and has served in other ministry roles at churches throughout New York and New Jersey. He has theological degrees from Princeton Theological Seminary, Wheaton College Graduate School, and the University of Valley Forge. He, his wife, and their three little kids live in Fairport. In his free time, he enjoys adventuring with his family, fishing, kayaking, and learning new things from his kids.

The moderator of the Presbytery is elected and installed at the July meeting and takes office on August 1 for a term of one year. In addition to the duties and powers given by the Book of Order, the moderator may be given special responsibilities as approved by the Presbytery. The moderator (or their designee) presides at all installations of ministers, propounds the constitutional questions, and declares the minister installed. The moderator is a member of the Big Picture Team and becomes an ex-officio member of the Big Picture Team with voice and vote during the year after leaving office.
