Over 130 congregation leaders from four presbyteries attended Congregational Learning Day (CLD) on March 2. Recordings of the worship time and most of the workshops are now available on the CLD page of the PGV website.

This year’s workshops included:

      • Sexual Misconduct Prevention Policy Training
      • Ruling Elder Training
      • Deacon’s Training
      • Property Guys From Around the Presbytery
      • PC(USA)’s Long-standing Support for Justice in Palestine
      • Answering the Where & How—PGV Website, Google Drive, More

Here’s what some participants shared about their experience:

      • I enjoyed the workshop very much. Good content, gave me lots to think about in my upcoming role.

      • The presenter was excellent, down to earth, and provided meaningful content. Well worth the time spent.

      • Making this participatory held the attention and kept it interesting.

      • Organized and helpful–was easy to understand and had good samples.

      • Inspiring and useful … will use with my own session and congregation

      • I really like the use of the quiz/poll to help clarify sticky/confusing points.

Feedback provided by participants is already being considered in planning next year’s training event.
