On September 1 Rev. Dr. Carson Mouser was welcomed as the new pastor of John Calvin Presbyterian Church in Henrietta, N.Y. He brings experience, knowledge, and faithfulness to help the congregation on its journey. After previous pastor Rev. Marie Hanselman retired, the congregation enjoyed a rotating pulpit supply of three wonderful worship leaders. Although this was a positive experience they are glad to now have some consistency in pastoral care, Bible study, and community involvement. Rev. Carson led worship on August 20 for the congregation to meet him before his official start date and then a potluck dinner followed on September 10 for further introductions and fellowship. “Our congregation feels very blessed to have such a wonderful pastor joining us this month,” shared Ellen Best, clerk of session for John Calvin Presbyterian.
