The Third Church Choristers will be hosting a second Be A Chorister for the Day event on Sunday, May 7, 10 a.m.-1 p.m. and invite all to participate in the 10 a.m. worship service. This is a choral & music program for children in 2nd through 5th grades designed for children to learn more, and experience a taste of what it’s like to be a Chorister.

With a new partnership with the Royal School of Church Music in America (RSCM-A), and their highly respected Voice for Life tiered program, Choristers (in grades 2-5) will receive:

    • weekly instruction in choral singing

    • ensemble experience with handbell instruction

    • group keyboard instruction

    • worship education

For preschool through 1st grade children, the program offers Story and Song, a wonderful introduction for young children and caregivers to sing, play and hear faith-based stories as they begin to explore music as part of their faith formation.

The Choristers and Story and Song are open to all children in the community, not only those already affiliated with Third Church. A generous gift  allows this new program to be available at no cost to all families.

Register for the event here.
