Cameron Community Ministries awarded $200,000 in support of afterschool & summer enrichment programs

During a press conference on January 5 at the VA Medical Center in Canandaigua, U.S. Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer, Senator Kirsten Gillibrand, and U.S. Representative Joe Morelle announced $250 million in development funds for Rochester and the Finger Lakes region. CameronCommunity Ministries was awarded $200,000 in support of its afterschool & summer enrichment programs to increase academic achievement; promote social and emotional well-being; build youth leadership, and civic engagement; and provide a safe and supportive environment for youth in the Lyell-Otis community and City of Rochester.
