This session will explore selected roles of a church and Presbytery trustee as described in ‘The Presbyterian Trustee, An Essential Guide’ by Earl S. Johnson, Jr. and will review resources available from PC(USA) and the Presbytery of Genesee Valley, at least. Special attention will be given to matters of insurance, investments, property management and security. We will finish with a discussion of mutual areas of interest among the attendees.
PRESENTERS
Rev. Tedd Pullano (he/him/his), associate pastor at Third Presbyterian Church, is currently serving as chair of Presbytery trustees. He has previously served New Life Presbyterian and Ogden Presbyterian. Being a Presbyterian minister is a second (or even third) career for him.
Jim Pochodylo is a trustee for Third Presbyterian Church in Rochester and for the Presbytery of Genesee Valley. At Third Church, he is chair of the property committee and was formerly the property manager. He is a semi-retired engineer who works as a part-time consultant.
