Many/most churches struggle to implement an effective and efficient youth ministry, and not through lack of effort and intentionality. Simply put, we need a cultural shift in our approach to youth ministry, from individual-church insularity to multi-church (and multi-Presbytery) partnership. This interactive workshop explores the ways that youth leaders, pastors, and lay leadership can collaborate around youth ministry, both within and among Presbyteries.
PRESENTERS
Rev. Michelle Allen is serving in her first call as pastor at East Avon Presbyterian Church, where she was ordained and installed in 2020.
Rebeka Fergusson-Lutz, Camp Whitman assistant director, is in her second year of seminary studies at Colgate Rochester Crozer Divinity School, on the path to ordination in the Presbyterian Church, U.S.A.
